Morning after breakfast start your sightseeing of Mumbai. We start with the famous monument, the main tourist attraction in Mumbai, the Gateway of India is decked with four turrets and its yellow basalt stone structure has delicate latticework carved in it. Stands the rich and famous Royal Taj Mahal Hotel. Then after board a ferry to Elephanta Island. This 1-hour cruise will afford you picturesque seaside views. With your guide, explore all seven caves on the island, some of which are so small and hidden that they're often easily missed. Enter the main cave, an impressive sprawling structure with high ceilings and towering support beams, columns and pillars. On each wall, admire the complex and astoundingly detailed reliefs and carvings depicting narratives of the Lords Shiva. Morning after breakfast visit Prince of Wales Museum (Closed on Monday). Then, you will catch a glimpse of the other famous buildings of Mumbai as we drive you past the University of Bombay, High Court of Bombay and Crawford Market. Recognized as the world's largest outdoor laundry, the Dhobi Ghat is exclusive to the city of Mumbai. Evening around 4 – 5 PM we will take you to the beautiful Marine Drive, popularly known as the Queen's Necklace. Morning after breakfast drive by surface to Nashik (approx. 185 km / 4 hrs. drive). The town of Nashik is one of India's most holy sites: notably famous for Kumbh Mela. Legend says that Rama, hero of the Ramayana, lived here during his 14-year exile. Afternoon arrive and check-into hotel. Overnight stay at hotel. Thereafter drive to visit Trimbakeshwar Temple- One of the holiest temple in India, it houses 12 Jyotirlingas. The fascinating feature of the Jyotirlinga is its three faces symbolizing Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Rudra. Built in the 18th century by Maratha ruler, Peshwa Nana Saheb, the temple is a perfect epitome of classic architecture. At Trimbakeshwar there is a huge 'Kund' (water tank) called the 'Kushavarta', it is symbolic of the origin of Godavari and hence considered a sacred bathing place for the Hindus. After breakfast drive by surface to Aurangabad (approx. 210 km / 5 hrs. drive). Aurangabad - the most convenient place to visit the world famous Ajanta and Ellora caves, as well as the famous Mughal monument Bibi-Ka-Maqbara. Afternoon arrive and check-into hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

After breakfast city tour of Aurangabad, visit the famous Daulatabad Fort (Devgiri Fort). Often hailed as one of the 'seven wonders of Maharashtra', this architectural marvel is believed to have been built in the 12th century. It is s an impressive monument, founded by the Yadavas of Deogiri in 11thcentury AD. Excursion to Ellora (closed on Tuesday): Ellora caves; the site of finest examples of rock-cut caves in all India. It is the meeting point of three faiths, Jain and Hindu structures having risen alongside each other as the original Buddhist impetus slowly tailed off. Also visit the Bibi Ka Maqbara: Built in 1679 A.D., Having striking resemblance to Taj mahal burial place of Aurangzeb wife- Rabia-Durrani. It was constructed by Aurangzeb in 1661. The main inspiration for building design was from Taj mahal & it is often referred as Taj of the Deccan. After visit return back to hotel. Morning after breakfast full day excursion to Ajanta Caves (closed on Monday) (approx110 km / 3 hrs. drive). The first Buddhist cave monuments at Ajanta dates back to 1st Century B.C. Many more decorated caves were added to the original group during the Gupta period (5th to 6th centuries A.D.). The paintings and sculptures of Ajanta, considered masterpieces of Buddhist religious art, have had a considerable artistic influence. After visit return back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum- Established by Baba Dinkar Kelkar in the year of 1962. It have collection of almost 20000 articles, belonging to different parts of world. He had built this museum in the remembrance of his son, who died at young age of seven. Shaniwarwada- Shaniwarwada, once the seat of the Peshwa governance in Pune is a 286-year-old mansion and is one of the finest examples of architecture in the city.
